February 1837. With Mulholland catch Andrew Ireland, John Templeton and David Toppen stealing hens. They get  9, 6 and 4 months jail. Andrew Ireland escapes the jail. Sometime later there is a theft from Robb and Whittens silversmiths in Thistle Street. Andrew Ireland was apprehended and sentenced to 14 years of transportation.
