The Widow’s Last Shilling

This story concerns a widow, Mrs Kerr,  fallen on hard times pawning goods and having the money stolen by the young girl she chats to.  Mary Anne, Walker and M’Guire are the criminals involved. The story is word for word true as detailed in the court documents below.

The court case took place in 1845 with James McLevy, William Mulholland, John LaidLaw and John Sutherland all called as witnesses
